Nanaki FFVII

Not entirely loyal to Nanaki's actual appearance, but accuracy wasn't a huge priority for me. I was actually just practicing drawing large cats, and then it evolved into this What the hell is Nanaki anyway? Is he a cat?? Is he a dog?? The world will never know. Shading was actually really hard on this piece since there were two main sources of light, AND with mutl-colored fur. But I tried -_-
Roughly 8 hours give or take.
Paint Tool Sai & Photoshop (for tattoos and the background).

Positives: 
-Oh my god i've never drawn fire before, and it turned out a lot better than I thought it would. Like a LOT better.
-I think the hair is looking especially nice.

Room for Improvement:
-Those hind legs because i didn't have a damn clue what I was doing. 
-Shading multi-colored fur.
-Shading with multiple sources of light.
